CSKA star forward, Vagner Love, has again proven he didn’t get his nickname for nothing, saying that too much sex has sometimes prevented him from playing his best game.

“Before leaving for Flamengo for the second time I felt very lonely in Moscow,”
Love told Brazilian Playboy magazine.“Besides me, there were no other Brazilians on the team. I asked for permission to stay at home because it was hard for me without the language. But there wasn’t much to do at home, so I had sex all the time. I think that’s why I was too relaxed and calm on the pitch.”

Vagner reunited with CSKA this winter after a year-long stay with Flamengo from his home city of Rio de Janeiro.

Now he has somebody, with whom he can to talk Portuguese, as the Moscow side signed countryman Mario Fernandes last year.

Russia is mainly famous in Brazil for its low temperatures, and the local journalists wonder if love is even possible in the cold winter conditions.

“In winter it’s warm in Russian homes, restaurants and shops,”
the 28-year-old replied. “The problems begin when you go out on the street. I never tried making love at minus 27 or minus 30 Celsius. I’m not crazy.”

Love’s interview concluded with the player praising the beauty of Russian women.

“The Russian girls have the most gorgeous faces in the world,”
he stressed. “It was great for me in Russia. But I haven’t been with a large number of Russian women.”

Vagner is the most successful foreigner in Russian football history.
During his stay with CSKA in 2004–2012, he netted 117 goals, winning two domestic championships and the UEFA Cup.
