NEW YORK (Reuters) - John Grisham's "The Racketeer" retained the top spot on Publishers Weekly's bestseller list for the third consecutive week on Thursday.

The list is compiled using data from independent and chain bookstores, book wholesalers and independent distributors nationwide.
