The Municipality of Mrkonjic- Grad received the Business Friendly Certificate

         The congress was organised by NALED (National Alliance for Local Economic Development) in cooperation with GIZ and ''Eidgenossenschaft'' .

The Municipality of Mrkonjic Grad  has fulfilled  the standards of the programme certification for the cities and municipalities which create a favorable business environment in South-East Europe and according to the requirements of BFC SEE standards, the municipality of Mrkonjic Grad has achieved 84% out of a maximum  100 points.

The Fourth Regional Congress on Business Friendly Environment Reaching New Heights was attended by guests from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Serbia and there were also guests from USAID (The United States Agency for International Development) and some people from GIZ (Die Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit)

The project of Local Development (GOLD), financed by the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) , offered technical support for the implementation of the certification process of the Municipality of Mrkonjic Grad.

The main goal of the USAID/Sida Growth-Oriented Local Development Project (GOLD) is to provide strong support to local communities in their economic development efforts, attracting investments and creation of new jobs.
